Yellow Flower Abstract print on paper

Description

Yellow Flower Abstract is a detail from an alcohol ink painting I created after making my own inks.  The painting was scanned and transferred to Photoshop, where I grabbed a detail that spoke to me.  To that, digital filters and artist media brushes were used to tweak the image (and create the green “leaf” at the bottom). I had to stop using the alcohol ink medium because of it’s toxicity and cost. The unpredictable nature of the medium is fun so I ended up making my own inks from art markers and now use them most often for tinting copper bowls or clay jewelry.

These museum-quality posters are made on thick and durable matte paper that has an almost velvety texture.

It comes in 3 sizes: 8″x 10″, 16″x 20″,  24″ x 36″
