This is a small Goldstone pendant wrapped with raw copper wire and embellished with some small copper beads. The stone is a square bead turned diagonally and it has a nice sparkle. Goldstone, less commonly called ‘Monkstone’ or ‘Aventurine Glass’, is actually a synthetic material; a manmade glass containing tiny flecks of metal. The copper wire and beads have been oxidized and then buffed to bring out highlights.

It comes with a choice of 16″, 18″, or 20″ leather cord or chain (you decide) that completes the casual, boho look. The leather cord is 2mm smooth black leather and the metal chain is a strong alloy coated with copper.

Since this pendant is made with raw copper I ship it with a polishing pad so that you can buff the shine back as the copper oxidizes. The polish pad can also be used on sterling silver. Storing raw copper or sterling silver in a plastic bag delays the oxidation that naturally happens.
